The North Sporades Island group lies off the eastern shore of the Greek mainland and consists of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos and Skyros. Sporades means "the scattered ones" an expression that was used in Classical Antiquity to refer to the Aegean Islands lying outside the central archipelago of the Cyclades.

Sporades are the third most famous sailing destination in Greece. Every island has its own charm and has something very authentic to offer its visitors.

In the Sporades nature has created images of incomparable beauty, full of monasteries and old stone houses with outdoor ovens, breathtaking landscapes, dazzling, flat-roofed whitewashed houses, an idyllic coastlines, caves, chapels and churches; labyrinthine streets in lively neighborhoods, home to the Mediterranean monk seals, dolphins and rare species of flora and fauna.
